Observation 2

In class, we discussed the hot topic of Tiger and that lady from the Golf Channel. We watched the video of Al Sharpton's response, and it really got me thinking. I don't agree with him dragging this situation out so long. Tiger has gotten over it and so has the lady who said the statement, but Al thinks he needs to fight for something. The lady ment nothing racist when she said the comment, but everyone says she ment it to be. When someone says lynching, I think about a noose and a person being hanged. Black never comes to my mind. Al Sharpton thinks Black is related to the word lynching. Now tell me, who is the racist here? Race was no way involved in the ladies statement, but it was implied by alot of people. We need to stop thinking about a world of color and think of everyone as equals, because if we do, no one can be offended by "racist" comments.
